I think everyone is familiar with our canal networks and beautifully painted narrowboats, but have you ever wondered who does the artwork on these boats!?

Well, let me introduce you to Claire Norton from Claire Norton Sign writing and Canal Art who visited Ovation Boats to work on 'Reprise' who's in the final stages of completion.

Claire is based at Willington (near to Mercia Marina) but travels to wherever a boat is moored. This design took 2 days and was painted freehand using a Mawlstick and one shot high quality enamel paint. Beautiful!
